Modified Hot Tub Boiler Heated

We had this plumbed into our biomass boiler for two years. Removed it at the end of last summer as no longer had time to maintain it wanted the space back on the decking. There are two holes plumbed into the bottom of the tub which act as flow and return of the tubs water. With a plate heat exchanger, CH valve and thermostat the tub can be plumed into any heat source including gas boilers, biomass boilers, oil boilers and heat pumps. The probe for the included thermostat can be seen in the picture just below the light.

Its many times cheaper to heat this way than with the usual resistive heater. The entire external void is also filled with polystyrene beads to insulate it. When turned off with the cover on it only lost 1degree C a day. I Havnt had time to clear the winter leaves out but was the same when I got it and cleans up perfect. If it gets much interest i’ll clean it out if required.

I have the circulation pump and thermostat which will be included. The plate heat exchanger is will stay plumbed into our biomass circuit but I have a spare brand new one which I can sell with it if needed. Any questions please ask. James
