A REALLY great heating element, 4.0kw which is easier on your relays than 5.5kw 4.0 kw 4000 watts p/n 624402T. This element and our 5.0kw Titanium are our best 2 elements. -TITANIUM sheath 4000 watt element, rated 240 volts 4.0kw or 120v 1.0kW -Underwriters Laboratories Recognized Component-Installation guide -2 Ridged molded gaskets for your heater flanges.-Fits industry standard flo-thru heaters with 2.25" outside diameter stainless steel housing. Does not fit 2.0" diameter housings, nor 1.9". -On 120v this element is 1000 watts.-Terminal bulkhead fittings are industry standard 1/2" diameter spaced 1-1/4" apart.-Titanium is the most corrosion resistant sheath material presently available, more resistant than Incoloy elements.

The grey-blue-purple color is the natural color for this titanium alloy. Compatible with Balboa M-7 type heaters, where the overall length must be 9.9" or less and must have the correct terminal placement. Certified, guaranteed good resistance and thoroughly ground fault tested, prior to shipping. Over 31 electrical tests performed.

Includes 2 new heater housing gaskets, standard size for flanged flo-thru heaters, Startup procedure is VERY important, just because it is titanium does not make it any more resistant to dry-fire abuse, starting up with air in the piping, etc., please read the included instructions. Fits many flo-thru heaters requiring side terminals, Balboa M-7, Gecko, Acura controls as well as Morgan, Brett, United, ACC, Hydroquip, and many others. Includes an installation guide with tips on proper heating element startup (VERY important!). Sized for 2.25" diameter flo-thru heater housings with 1-1/4" terminal spacing, with 1/2" bulkhead holes in housing, these are all very common, standard dimensions. Overall length of this element is approximately 9-3/4".

For a proper fit you need your heater housing to conform to the details listed which again are: Stainless Steel Housing outside diameter must be 2.25" (2-1/4 inch) Housing hole size for terminals must be 1/2 inch. Housing hole spacing must be 1-1/4 inch center to center.

Housing must require an element with terminals offset to one side. Housing must require an overall element length of approximately 9-3/4 inch. Only UNOPENED new elements may be returned.
