This pod had been branded by companies in the UK and is being sold new at 15-18k. I opened my spa business in December 2019 and closed on 19th March 2020 under government rules. We unfortunately did not open again due to the length of time spa businesses were remained closed which was more than 12 months.
The pod has had just over 3 months use and was booking out on special opening offer rates at 25 per hour as part of a package (eg with a massage or sauna pod session costing 50 per person total). The pod was very popular on its own and was receiving block bookings by customers as well as for spa packages for 2 people. The opening offers would have been increased to at least 35 per pod hour after 6 months which is inline with local competition in our area. There is lots of information out there about financial returns and yes some spas are booking out at 40-60 per hour in Manchester/Liverpool but as a small outfit I priced to my market locally. I have sold most of my equipment bit by bit and the pod is the last thing to go and has been in a storage facility since July 2020 when we left our business premises.
I am willing to provide you with help as I can initially by phone, text and email to get the pod installed and can also give you contact details of the service team in China along with all the information I have from them and the import service I used should you wish to import another pod in the future. Features: Closed loop system once filled it does not need changing for 6 months. You will need a plumber to install a shower and builder for drainage and extraction. Manufactured for the German Market but this pod is fully UK spec and compliant. Relaxing LED lighting MP3 audio with USB port for customising music.
Salt fill will cost 300-400 once or twice a year depending on use - I will give you supplier details. Google: "Floatation Therapy" to find out more Groupon - lots of Floatation offers on there if you search. Questions: - How much salt is needed? You will achieve optimal floatation bouyancy over 400kg of Epsom salt are typically larger in size. Epsom salt costs between 15-20 for a 25kg bag.
- How often should the salt be changed/water changed? We recommend to change the water and salt every 6-12 months. The pod has a drain valve and drain pipe on the back for easy draining. - How does the heater and filtering process work? The heater and filtering works at the same time and is only turned on inbetween float sessions.
You can schedule on the control box how long you would like it to heat and filter for. Once desired temperature is reached, the heater and pump will stop. You can set it to automatically re-heat/filter if the temperature drops. - Does the pod fit through a standard size door? The top of the pod can be seperated, so the pod can be transported/moved in 2 parts.
This way it should fit through a standard size door. See pics for dimensions. Insulated fibreglass cast with hydraulic lid to assist in opening the pod. Features a removable top to allow the pod to be moved more easily. Includes a drain that can be opened or closed from a valve on back of the pod to allow easy draining out of the pod.
A handle inside the pod to help when entering and exiting the pod.
