All foam filters respond terribly to chlorine based water treatment this is why I can only advise using based treatment & clearwater multifunction tablets. PLEASE READ - When using these foam filters please make sure you take the filter out & rinse after each use of your hot tub.

And never leave the filter in when shock treating your water. I do not advise using these foam filters with chlorine as they will rapidly degrade.
