FOUR pack of Biofoam filters to fit Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs. Will wash and can be reused giving far longer life than the standard cartridges which we have found regularly give error codes. These filters have been tested in our hire tubs and give far superior water quality and no error codes in comparison. It is very important that your water is not over chlorinated as the foam will decompose, always remove filter when using a chlorine shock treatment (not necessary to remove when using a non chlorine or oxy shock treatment). Filter works perfectly when correct chemical levels are maintained in your tub.

If you need advise on water chemical management please ask and we will help if we can. We recommend that your filter is checked daily to remove any debris and rinsed under a tap if necessary. Filter will last for many weeks if looked after correctly. Can be washed with warm soapy water.WASH YOUR FILTERS IN FRESH WATER EVERY OTHER DAY TO PROLONG LIFEFilters also tested with hydrogen peroxide (our preferred hot tub sanitiser) and they work perfectly. These are a foam alternative to the Intex paper filters and can be tricky to get your chlorine levels balanced well enough to maintain the life of the foam.

The filters are less sensitive to bromine and we would recommend this over chlorine as it’s much kinder to skin. If you think you may have difficulty then these filters are NOT for you.
