Softub Hot Tub

Hello and welcome to this auction for our fabulous Softub. We will keep adding more descriptions as updates when we have the time, so please keep looking. Firstly some background. We were introduced to what makes a Sottub a very special hot tub / spa / jacuzzi many years ago and it it this technology that makes them unique and more importantly 365 days a year affordable running keeping it on waiting for you to enjoy. If you are reading this I am sure you have already dome your homework and looked at https://www.softubuk.com And http://simplysoftub.co.uk/softub-hire We purchased this used ourselves from a couple who enjoyed it so much they purchased a new one.

At the time we thought they were mad however like them we are now doing the same and upgrading hence the sale of our tub and what was our introduction into the Softub brand. I would describe it a totally reliable and all you would need to dip you toe, into the the Softub difference. We have owned it for almost 2 years and have kept it filled and running for the whole time using it regularly and keeping the water treated, which is an easy reliable maintenance routine that we are happy to discuss in detail with whoever buys this. Add some floating LED lights a compulsory glass of your favourite drink and relax. We have stayed at log cabins with hot tubs and none have been as comfortable as our Softub not good really when you are away on holiday where the hot tub is a high maintenance item but a truthful reality.

In the winter it’s fabulous at 39 DegC Unfortunately we have not had real snow since we have owned it to sit in an Alpine setting just lots of rain ... and lovely summers where you ca lower the temperature and gain lot’s of friends. Running costs are not noticeable as there is no heater, this is the big technological advantage of a Softub, heating the water using the heat generated by the pump. Buy a LazySpa and it’s great for fun but not really sustainable. It cost a fortune to run and won’t really last that long. Buy a solid jacuzzi style hot tub and the running costs alone will make you turn it off and fall out of love with it.

Not to mention initial purchase cost delivery and installation? A Softub can roll trough a house door and be transported on a roof rack or van / trailer. Having a hot tub you can afford to use all year round, that you can enjoy whatever the weather throws at you is luxury in our opinion, which is why we are buying a new one. The controls are the latest technology as the new one with digital displays and work perfectly. Our Tub has a one piece lid which is the only difference to a new one.

You can buy new at 6k or have a reliable introduction for a fraction of the price Ideally the lid would need a new cover as it’s not 100% watertight in continuous rain these have been listed on here for £95 however it doesn’t bother us. The tub inside is crease and fault free only chlorine stain lines differentiate it from new. The tub cover outside has cracks and slight faults however would function for years to come if this doesn’t bother you. If it does then a new liner could be purchased which would make this tub as good as new. The control unit runs faultlessly but does have a cigarette burn on top as well as the cracking matching the tub cover.

Again a brand new cover can be purchased should you wish. In Summary I would use it and enjoy it as it is for around 25% of the cost of a new one, why not. Thank you for reading this far.
