Wood Fired Hot Tub, 2 Person Scandinavian Style.

I built this hot tub about 4 months ago and have used it several times over the winter including new years eve. It is made from reclaimed pine and has an inner and outer tub with a waterproof liner between them. The firebox is made of steel and heats the hot tub to 40 degrees in approximately 3 hours using pine off-cuts as fuel. There is seating for two comfortably or three at a squeeze. There is a built-in drain tap and the tub can be moved on castors when empty.

It must be supported on wooden chocks before filling. Filling takes about 700 litres of water and about two hours from a standard outside hosepipe. I'm only selling it as my wife wants a bigger one! The winning bidder will need a large van or trailer to transport the hot tub as it is 1200mm square and 1000mm tall and weighs almost 200kg when empty. The auction is for collection only as I can't deliver it, cash on collection is fine.
