We have placed a long dispatch time of 30 days on this listing only to allow time for you to send your pump to us first. Please click 'Buy It Now' to purchase the service we will then message you with our postal address. Then wrap your pump well in bubble wrap and cardboard and send it to us.
You are responsible for sending your pump to us, courier services for this item can be found for around £13. (Free postage is for the return of your repaired pump only). Please leave your contact details in the box including: name, classifieds board username, email address, contact number, return address and a brief description of any faults you are aware of. You are responsible for ensuring your pump is well packaged to prevent damage to it in transit both ways. Your pump will be sent back to you in the packaging it arrives in!
Please send your pump to us within 14 days of purchasing this service. We will mark your item as dispatched on classifieds board as soon as we have sent your pump back to you. We have many years of experience with these pumps and have fixed 100s over the years. If we find any additional issues outside the standard repair and reconditioning service and extra parts are required we will contact you to discuss your options.** If for any reason your pump is beyond economical repair or physically case damaged due to insufficient packaging we will return the pump to you and you will be refunded less the return postage. Warranty excludes any new unrelated faults or leaks of parts not worked on in this service or any damages in transit. Pump serial number is recorded and parts are security marked to prevent fraud.
Warranty will become invalid if pump is opened or worked on by any other person or company or suffers any accidental damage on your part. If you need to make a warranty claim within the warranty period please contact us first before sending your pump back to us If the claim is valid Westcountry Spas will re-repair your pump and pay the outgoing and return shipping costs for you. If your claim is invalid you may be charged for a new repair or return shipping costs if you choose not to continue with the repair. **Extra Parts The vast majority of pumps are repaired and returned successfully at the standard repair and reconditioning service price with no need for any extra parts, however sometimes extra parts outside the scope of the standard repair and reconditioning service are necessary to complete your repair, such as but not limited to: heater element, display module, main PCB (circuit board), mains lead, RCD (the inline trip switch on the power lead), casing parts or any other major parts. We will contact you before doing any work on your pump if any extra parts are required, at this point you can decided whether to: accept the additional charge for the extra part(s) required, choose not to continue with the repair and we will send your pump back to you and you will be refunded less the return shipping cost or we can dispose of the pump for you and you will receive a full refund of the service price.
We regret that we cannot always repair every pump on the standard service as in some cases this would not be economical. You should consider if your pump is viable for repair and contact us first if you suspect your pump may need major parts before using this service we will be happy to help and we don’t want you to waste your time and money if your repair might be uneconomical for you. Damages in Transit The vast majority of pumps are received and sent back without incident however in some rare cases damage has occurred this is normally due to insufficient packaging. As stated in the listing above in blue you are reasonable for ensuring your pump is well packaged to prevent damage to it in transit both ways as we will be sending your pump back to you in the packaging you sent it to us in, therefore we cannot accept any liability if your pump is damaged in transit either on its way to us or on its way back to you. The couriers do not offer any insurance for these items as they are not ‘new goods’ and there is no way of proving who damaged a ‘used item’ as it could have been damaged before sending as far as the couriers are concerned.
If your pump arrives to us damaged we will contact you with pictures to inform you and discuss your options. It may no longer be viable for repair if its casing is damaged. Depending on the level of damage we may be able to repair it using extra parts at an extra cost to you but this is not guaranteed if the damage is too severe. At this point you can choose to: accept this extra repair cost (if offered), not continue with the repair and we will send your pump back to you and you will be refunded less the return shipping cost, you can collect the pump in person and you will receive a full refund of the service price or we can dispose of the pump for you and you will receive a full refund of the service price. In summary the sending and receiving of pumps by courier for this service is entirely at your own risk!
Data Protection Westcountry Spas will not share any customer details provided for use of this service with any third party individuals or companies other than those necessary to be provided to the return shipping courier as part of the normal service. Westcountry Spas will not send you any advertisements or share your details with any third party advertisers. We will only contact you in relation to this service if necessary to complete your works. Your details in relation to this service will be held on the company’s own private system for the purposes of warranty and service history records only.
