Lay-Z-Spa Honolulu AirJet hot tub. Working. Comes with pump, cover, two filters (one brand new), original instructions, a (partly used) ClearWater Spa starter kit, a Lay-Z-Spa branded insulating floor protector, about 2.5kg of stabilised chlorine granules, 41 dip test strips, an unused chlorine tablet floater, a couple of patches, a vinyl repair kit, and all its original hoses and fittings. Heats to 40C, displays both Celsius and Fahrenheit, and has a timer feature. Spa was originally purchased in 2019 and has been well looked after with regular water changes and has been drained, dried and put away each October/November until the next Spring. It is however showing its age now, the cover is dirty and faded, with some algae residue all around the fabric part of the underside I can't get off (pictured) - this doesn't affect the water however.
The inflatable part of the lid is also heavily discoloured (also pictured). In terms of condition, everything works: pump, heater and airjet are all fine. The tub has no leaks, does not leak air or water. The underside had a very minor puncture three years ago, so I repaired it with the vinyl repair kit, and it has been fine since. Picture of repair is attached.
I also replaced all of the rubber seals on the pump last year. The valve stopping water from flowing into the airjet has perished, so water flows into the airjet part of the pump and sometimes a very small amount seeps out of the bottom of the pump. This doesn't seem to affect operation at all. Both the insulating floor protector and the "bubblewrap" type floor protector are in very poor condition. The bubblewrap one that came with it has badly perished, and the insulating one (purchased separately) has a lot of rust marks from a manhole cover.
This listing includes everything that came with the tub when it was new, as well as the vinyl repair kit (I last used three years ago, I don't know if its still good) and everything needed for ongoing maintenance. The Spa Starter Kit contains stabilised chlorine granules, foam remover, pH plus, PH minus (all between half and two thirds used up) a guide to show how all of this is used, and 41 dip test strips. A big 5kg tub of chlorine granules, about half used. Collection only on this item, its far too big and heavy to post. I have packed the main body of the spa in its original box and left the pump separate.
Location Barton le Clay in Bedfordshire.
