This is a simple unit meant to run a 2-speed pump, a 12 volt light, and an air blower.

Temperature is manually set by the thermostat knob on the control. Filtration time is set by the manual time clock. These 503 units were available for years prior to digital controls taking over the market. We acquired the remaining inventory or factory refurbished 503's and only have a few left on hand now. There will be scratches and blemishes, but the electronics and functional parts were factory tested as replaced as needed.

There is a mode switch which can be set to AUTO or to TIMER. On AUTO, the control brings on the pump for filtration and heat anytime heat is called for by the thermostat. On TIMER, the control brings on the pump for filtration according to what you set on the manual time clock and heat comes on anytime heat is needed. Pump, light, and air blower are turned on-off by pressing an air button. The 3 included buttons are typical industry size they drop into a round hole 1-3/8" in diameter.

15 feet of 1/8" air tubing is included, meant to be divided up for the 3 buttons. -Runs a main 2 speed spa pump, and an air blower, and spa light, intended use is to be mounted under the redwood skirt of a typical portable spa, not outside in the rain, snow, etc. The air blower circuit could be used to switch on-off a single speed secondary pump, per the manufacturer Applied Computer Controls. Runs on 20 GPM minimum, 2" or 1-1/2" PVC pipe size. This is NOT a circ pump system for tiny 24/7 3/4" pumps.

This is for conventional 2-speed pump and is a high flow heater and control system. Message us if you need a tiny circ pump controller, along with all your specs and details. This control above is NOT for low flow circ systems. -Comes with a new power cord for your main 2-speed pump, with quick disconnect plug to the control. You also get quick disconnect plugs and short 'pigtail' cords for the air blower, ozonator, and spa light.

These are short cords meant to splice to your existing light cord, blower cord, and ozonator cord, using the supplied wire nuts. -Includes 15 inch long 5500 watt (5.5kw) stainless steel heater, this is the common length of heater for 98% of hot tubs out there, comes with industry-standard black plastic split nuts with common buttress threads, so can couple right up to your existing plumbing if you have a 15" heater now. -the 503 runs off your 4-wire 230 volt supply voltage from the house with a neutral. The pump is set to 230v and blower voltage set to 115 volts, and these can be changed as needed. Can be mounted in any direction or position, even upside down, and the water can flow either direction through the heater.

Can be fitted to 1-1/2" or 2" PVC pipe size systems. Support for this unit is limited to excellent ACC factory tech support but down the road, replacement parts may not be available please note, as this is a discontinued design. Replacement timeclocks and heater, heater elements, hi-limit switches, contactors, pressure switch are readily available but the motherboard and daughterboard with air connections will not be available.
