Jacuzzi Hot Tub Hydrotherapy Spa - Repair Needed

Hi and welcome to my auction for this Jacuzzi Hot Tub Hydrotherapy Spa. I bought this hot tub around a year ago with the intention of repairing and tidying it up for us to use. I spent quite a while researching it to make sure I got a quality hot tub which was easy enough to repair as I was on a budget. Unfortunately for me I never got round to it, and with our first child on the way I doubt I ever will. Fortunately for you there’s now a bargain hot tub up for sale, which with a few minor repairs, should see you relaxing in it all summer!

This is a Jacuzzi J-375 hydrotherapy hot tub and although it’s a few years old now it’s still a high spec hot tub even compared to the latest models. It has a built in CD / Radio with pop up speakers and an Aux input so you can connect any device for music while you relax. It has a dual waterfall feature and comes with the cover and gas-strut cover lifter. There are 2 sets of filters with it but with how cheap these are on classifieds board I’d probably recommend replacing them. It is a 6 seater but will comfortably fit 8 adults, with 1 lounger, 4 massage seats and 3 non massage seats.

The hot tub is a 32amp model, which means that, unlike the cheaper models which plug into a normal household socket, it will heat and run the pumps at the same time. Included in the pictures with the listing is what I believe is the correct owners manual which I’ve found online and screenshot for your information. Dimensions are: Length: 230cm Width: 230cm Height: 95cm Height with cover on: 105cm Since I bought it I’ve had it stored in my garage, so collection is nice and easy, you or your collection company can pull straight onto the drive and load it up on solid level ground. This is a big heavy item so if you are collecting yourself then please bring a few strong people with you, I’m happy to help with loading but I’m only one man. As I’ve said, the hot tub does need some attention, although when I bought it it was all in good working order, so I expect that if you’re happy with topping up the water every now and then, you could just plug it in, fill it up and enjoy.

To the best of my knowledge the only real issue which needs attention is a slight leak, the previous owner said that the water level drops around 3cm over 2 days. Before I bought it I sought advice from a hot tub repair specialist who told me that on this particular model a slight leak is common from the drain pipe. He advised that replacing this connection would in all likely-hood fix the leak. He also advised me that replacing the part may not even be necessary as he has successfully repaired this problem in the past with a leak-fix solution. I haven’t looked into this so can’t be sure this is the cause of the leak but it’s a good place for you to start.

There are a few other bits which could do with tidying up, none of these are major issues and the hot tub will work perfectly without this work, but I want to be honest about what you’re bidding on: - The cover is perfectly serviceable but is a bit tatty (see pics) - One of the clips that holds one of the headrests in place has broken (see pic). I still have the piece which has broken off so you may even be able to glue it back together. It’s not really noticeable but cheap and easy to replace if you choose to. - One of the jet covers is missing (see pic), the jet still works without it, again it’s cheap and easy to replace if you choose to. - The tub shell has been repaired in the past (see pic).

The previous owner had this repair done by a speedboat repair specialist, it’s a professional and quality repair so doesn’t need any further work, I’m just making you aware of it. - There is some slight damage to the tub surround as you can see in the pictures, no repair necessary - There are age related scuffs and marks etc around the hot tub as you’d expect and as you can see in the pictures.
