Mine was on sale, and for that money I am happy with what i got. My grandson put it together with little or no trouble. Most of the reviews complained about the directions. No Prob. The water temp does go down some times to 102 degrees.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A Good Substitute for a 'Real' Hot Tub 12 Mar 17 I cannot fit a 'real' hardbody hot tub (spa) into my basement - it will not fit through the doors. So I opted for a portable, inflatable one instead.I began doing this about 7 years ago and have found that these portables break down in a very short period of time. It is never the vinyl body - that is fine. It is the heater & filter. The heater often dies and sometimes the filter dies.

Why do I continue to buy them? If I pay $350 for one and it lasts only a year, over a ten year period I would pay $3,500 in total. A 'real' hot tub would have cost $5,000, so I am ahead of the game.But there are more reasons - a smaller hot tub is cheaper to heat and cheaper to chlorinate (less water). So I am happy.But know this - it takes almost 24 hours to heat it, so you have to decide a day ahead if you want to use it - that is annoying. Also, the disposable filters are usually very expensive - that is annoying.

The filter is not very powerful too. But all in all I am happy with this purchase - but before you buy one - consider all I said. Great Product for the Price 22 Oct 15 The hot tub is easy to set up and operate. It seems to only have a 'heat on' rather than a thermostat control for the water temperature. Although there is an led temperature read out on the pump-heater. It takes a while to warm the water.I placed the hot tub outside, under a covered patio. It is on a wooden deck, however I did place padding material on top the wood deck before setting up the hot tub.I love the hot tub.

It is perfect for 1 or 2 persons. I find myself sleeping better at night when I relax in the hot tub before bed. I've had the spa for a week. For the price, I feel it is a good buy - so far. Jet Spa review 11 Aug 15 There are 2 kinds...bubbler spa and jet spa.

The jet spa has 4 jets that are positionable. They are located about a foot off the bottom. I am 5 ft 3 inches; the jets hit mid back when I sit up. They hit between my shoulder blades when I float and place my feet in front of the jets on the other side. They jets only run for 30 minutes at a time so you don't get overheated or fall asleep.

I have the temp at 94 degrees. It feels so good that I usually run 2 30 minute cycles. During that time the time only goes down 1 or 2 degrees. You do sit on the bottom of the spa, but there is a bubble pad that goes under the spa and I folded the box in half that the spa came in and put that under the bubble pad. The water tends to lift you slightly off the bottom so you don't feel the hard ground/concrete under the spa.

The spa is very sturdy, but keep the patches in a safe place. You will have to purchase the adhesive. The cover is a little difficult for one person to put in place without dunking it in the water. Make sure to thoroughly dry out cover periodically to prevent mold.The spa was easy to set up. I am a retired female and I did it myself.The most complicated part was setting up the chemicals.

I went to my local pool/spa store. For about $50 I purchased 1 inch Bromine tablets, pH Up, pH Down, Shock crystals, and a small net. These chemicals will probably last a year. I also had to order filters. I was told I would probably have to change the filters weekly for the first few weeks while the water stabilizes.

The water did foam...a lot...the first couple of days. I found out this is because of residue on clothes and skin; solution is rinse off before going into spa. Wow, I was impressed!!!! I have fibromyalgia and lupus so I ordered my spa in hopes that it would help ease some of my pain. I set it up in my basement so that I can use it during the Winter (my worst time for pain). My thoughts were that if it didn't work real well or have much power, I didn't pay a substantial amount for it so it wouldn't be that big of a loss.I heated it to 104 degrees. OMG, it felt soooo good.

The temperature went down 9 degrees over the 25 minutes I was in it but still felt absolutely wonderful!! The power behind the bubbles was more than I expected and was also perfect!! I love it so much that I have decided to make my basement my Girlcave!! The only drawback is that it came with a nice big inflatable pad for the bottom but it doesn't stay there, it floats. Wow, I am more than pleased. 20 May 15 BestWay Lay-Z-Spa, Miami. This is a test run for a 120 volt spa for my home, as I am out of 240 volt circuits. It was easy to assemble and quick. The vinyl appears to be thick, and the spa well assembled.

No sharp parts, miss-aligned threads, or uneven parts. The directions were concise and easy to follow.I have the thermostat set at one hundred degrees which is pure bliss. The pump does churn the water, and everything in what I have read, the water will soon drop about ten degrees when one gets in and the pump churns after a time. This is no problem, and I guess one could compensate by setting a higher degree of water temperature . I am also thrilled to share my electric bill only arose about twenty dollars, also given the fact here in Nashville (TN) it was chilly when I installed, and the water for the spa from the tap was COLD.Again, I am more than pleased, and the tub is more than blissful.
