Canadian Spa V1/V2 Portable Contol Unit (Pcu) Serivce

Have a v2 Canadian spa pcu, looking for refurb to replace or possibly would be cheaper to repair, unit is about 18 months old , had new impeller fitted 6 months ago by Canadian spa at a cost of £120 / £60 part /£60 courier. The fault this time was error 3 , tried all the usual things to try and solve but no joy, pump is clear and circulating but digital display is counting from 9deg up to about 25 then counts back down to zero , could you quote a price for possible repair or a refurbished unit, thanks Stevie

I have a Canadian Spa V1 unit. It is not heating the water correctly. Every time I turn it on, it resets itself to 30° and the unit freezes (no button can be pressed). The reset button does not work. I purchased the unit from yourselves last year via Ebay. Please could you advise

Hi we have a v1 moskoka pump it has a intamitant fault it heats fine then puts the bubbles on the filter light is flashing and peeping we can’t knock the bubbles off but can press the heater button and the bubbles stop and the heater works ?

I have three V2 PCU’s - all three have an E5 error and I only seem to get about one year out of each PCU before they go with this problem. The internal reset button trick has worked a couple times but now they are completely dead and I do believe it is the water pump or heat pump that is the problem. So I’m interested in buying these particular parts if anyone has them to sell. I am in Canada. Thanks, Kevin

Following up my last post. For sure it is the pump - I need 3 of them repaired or replaced. Upon opening up the pump (hard twist) I see that the spindle, made of a delicate pink ceramic material, is broken. This causes the impeller to fail, and thus the heat is not pumped away from the unit and the E5 error triggers the shutdown. So, I really just need 3 new spindles! Can anyone advise on this? Any repro spindles out there? Seems like it could be such a simple fix - replace the spindle and reassemble.

Hi, my V1 pump is working but very temperamental. For some reason it keeps freezing and the only way to get it going again is by switching it off/on again. It heats up perfectly well and there are no issues with the jets and filter. Not sure if this is a major issue or not so I’m hoping you can help. Many thanks.
