Balboa Hot Tub

Relisted due to COMPLETE TIME WASTERS X2 Balboa hot tub for sale. Please read carefully and have a good look at the pictures. This was included in the house we just bought due to the sellers moving to a far smaller property / garden. We planned to use it, but the reality of two young kids means we just aren't getting the chance. It's 6ft Square.

I'm not sure how they catagorise the sizes, but I'd say its very comfortable for two people, maybe more could fit in but I'd think 3-4 max. It's around 70cm deep internally at the deepest point. It's several years old but was in regular use until a few months ago. We're reliably told it's fully functioning, and was certainly keeping the water warm, and the jets were working when we tried it a few weeks ago. However it needs a full service (in particular to sort an Overheating issue (not dangerous as it just cuts the heating element power until it all cools down a bit, the guy we asked to service it seemed to think a service would sort it as it may just be the filters are a little clogged, but we can't guarantee anything)).

I would also recommend it is tested before being 'encased' to make sure there aren't any leaks - I don't think there are as it seemed to be holding water fine, but I can't be sure. There are some shallow scratches around the top edges, but I'd say it still looks good. There is one area at the bottom of the deepest part where it has had a small patch with some filler, this is shown in one of the photos (it is an off white colour, noticeable against the blue plastic). This has been professionally done, and is flush and watertight. Sale is for the hot tub itself, so the plastic/glass fibre (not exactly sure what it's made of) part and associated pumps wiring etc.

Not the woodwork and sunshade shown in photos. Some of the woodwork can be included (free) but the wood is probably in need of painting/treating anyway. Also included is a water pump for draining the tub, this is brand new, only used twice, and was 60. Also including is the water care kit (pH strips, chlorine etc.) which was 40 and is brand new and unopened. The sunshade and metal frame is not included.

Pick up only, from near Crewe / market Drayton. I have removed it from the wooden decking 'surround' and can help load it, but it will require a large van/truck to move it which you must be responsible for providing and ensuring it fits and there is sufficient packing materials to protect it in transit. You could consider using someone like Shiply to move it, but if so, we'd rather you came to oversee them picking it up etc. It will take 3+ people to lift (of which I can be 1!) Happy to discuss and find a way which works. Payment only via PayPal within 1 day of end of auction.

Pick up is flexible, but must be within 2 weeks maximum.
